I see that you take Protonix. That could be affecting your digestion. If you don't have enough stomach acid to break down the food, it can cause nausea. Maybe you would benefit from some sort of elemental drink that could easily be assimilated by your body.

wonder if it is something you eat that makes you more tired. Wheat has that effect on me. agree with others maybe your food levels are a bit low and ensure could give you a boost. SO frustrating to be 'wellish' yet exhausted ;P {{hugs}} Lesley

Nanners, could be medications too. The percocet, phenergan, zofran, and xanax especially. My dad takes percocet and an anti-anxiety drug and he sleeps A LOT.

Spooky I have been on all these meds for years, they no longer cause drowsiness in me at all. As for the Prontonix the nausea would be 20 times worse if I DIDNT take it.

I was talking to my athletic and very fit husband yesterday, and he said he too thought it is because of my small appetite. And I think he is right, because I started thinking about everything and realized that I am eating less than I was before this recent kidney surgery. Also my hair is shedding like crazy too and think that is from not eating as much. Will add some kind of Boost or Ensure drink and see if that helps.

I wish I could find a multi vitamin that agreed with my sensitive gut. Maybe I will try another kids vitamin and see how they work. Maybe something has changed and I can tolerate them. If I can't take them I can give them to my grandson instead. Thanks again all!

I know you can handle mozzarella cheese. What about other cheeses? Even when I was at my worst a few years ago and losing weight really fast, the one thing I could eat was cheese. I would carry those little cheese snack packs with me, or string cheese. It's protein, so it might help and it's just a small portion so it might sit well with you.

I also eat peanut butter and banana sandwiches in the afternoons on the days when my blood sugar "feels" low.  And I am definitely with you about the multivitamins.
