Hi all, its me again. sorry about the posts, but as you may know from my previous posts, i was diagnosed with IBS when i was 16 (23 now), but its been getting worse and im pretty sure its not IBS anymore.
i have opened my bowels a few times today and everytime i have, its been green in colour and kinda mucousy, would this be normal for crohns or summin else?
sorry about the graphic info, im just a bit worried.

i will be going to the gp's 2morrow, but im just looking for some opinions.

I have had a post going the last 2 days about this titled "@ artist guy, green mucous/bile"... you should take a look at that thread. I have experienced green mucous, and others have too.

Green could be a normal thing for CD or it could be infection, I can't tell you as I am not sure what mine was caused by. Bottom line, I think you should tell your dr and see what your dr says.

That has happened to me before. I was told it was just because everything was moving through my system a lot faster than normal. Eventually it will go back to "normal" whatever normal is. Just won't be green. Kinda strange to see green stool/mucus but was told not to worry.

My dr had no idea what mine was caused by, at least you got some feedback redsoxgirl. That's good to know.

Mine turns green when I drink grape soda. There was something else that turned it green, but I can't remember what.

Yes Bane is correct sometimes it can be affected by something colored you ate or drank. Another possibility is that you are going so much, nothing but bile is left. Hope the docs give you some answers today. Hugs!
