I have an iphone and have been loving every minute of it since I got it a year ago. I am constantly looking for apps that may be beneficial to me at work (athletic trainer) and personally. I have found two separate apps that I love:
1. My Medical: It allows you to track all of your medical information (i.e., history, personal information, medical test results, doctor appointments, current/past medication, surgeries, emergency contacts, family history, etc.) for you and your family. It is a little time consuming to put everything in, but you can do it on the website and then send it to your phone. It costs $1.99 through iTunes. You can email this information to anyone including your doctor. You can find out more at www.mymedicalapp.com or iTunes.
2. GI Monitor: This one I just found yesterday and it is available for iphone, droid, and blackberry. It's a free app and has web access. This one your doctor can access your information directly if he/she signs up (for free) with WellApps. This one allows you to input information regarding your stool (form, blood, urgency), stress level, pain level, meal (how you think it will be to digest), missed meds, & custom symptoms. I like what I've seen from this app so far. You can find some more information at www.wellapps.com
I have no affiliation with either of these apps, but thought I'd share my finds with everyone.
