Fertility Questions!

Hello! I am new to this forum, but not to Crohn's. I had been in remission and trying to conceive but suffered 3 miscarriages. Then I had a partial bowel obstruction and ended up in the hospital (gotta love the morphine/solumedrol combo for immediate relief!). Docs are now saying my miscarriages were probably caused by inflammation in the pelvis from mild flaring. I was off everything except Entocort (as needed). Now I am back on 6MP and my doctor is planning to add Humira or Remicade. I did Remicade several years ago and LOVED it...it saved my life. But I'm nervous about all of these drugs and possible pregnancy. I am looking for information from those of you who have gotten pregnant while on any of these drugs as well as those who have suffered IBD related infertility. I know a flare is probably worse for a baby than these drugs, but I am still scared. I am almost 38 and had started fertility treatments. I am hoping that by getting my CD under control, I can avoid the fertility route. Any information will be welcome. I am scared and so angry at this disease. I just want to be a mother.

I am 38 years old and also trying to conceive my first child so I can totally relate. My docs (GI and OB/GYN) are all supporting me on this and feel that the meds I'm on will be ok to take during a pregnancy (I'm on Cimzia currently for the CD) I also have an ileostomy.
I did have one pregnancy a few years ago but it was in the fallopian tube and I had to have emergency surgery to remove it. I was devastated because I was so excited at the possibility. After that, I was very scared to even become pregnant again because I fear another loss.
But, now I'm ready again!
You may also want to ask your docs about vitamins you should be on (if not already) I was extremely deficient in Vitamin D and also B12.
