nanners....stool softeners

Just a question..... I know you take one a day... does this make you "go" alot  or just keep the stools soft?  Anyone else have any experience with this please chime in!  Prof

I take a 2 gelcaps of a generic Colace nightly. I take the 100 mg ones. No it does not cause me diarrhea. If I have a day where I have gone too much (not because of the stool softners, but because I ate something I shouldn't have), I may skip a day, but will go back on them the next day. I usually only go 1-2 times a day at most. Of course, thats unless I am bad and eat something I know I shouldn't have or I have too much stress. Hugs!

If you have diarrhea, then you should not be taking stool softners. I thought you suffered with constipation like I do. Hugs!
