Wot's a hob, Vixen? Is that the top part of the stove where you place saucepans etc?
Christmas tree: I'm trying to get organised early, but I also have my pretend baby niece visiting this week, and I'd like to have it up so she can look at it. (She's my best friend's baby, so I'm Aunty Ivy, even though we're not related). But it's no great drama if it doesn't happen, either.
I'm very much a bah humbug too, which is why I try to do it early! Once all the advertising and gross commercialism hits, I get stubborn and go into denial and avoidance
and then I know I'll end up regretting it on Dec 25 if I haven't done a proper amount of preparation.
I've washed my blankets, and have dead headed some flowers. I have no idea if the blankets will dry, but they're starting to smell musty after not being aired enough over this cold, wet, winter, and I've finally had enough. They're being washed, even if they have to come back inside damp!
Tossing stuff: fatigue = lots of empty packages sitting on shelves instead of being put in the bin, and probably a few yuck veggies in the fridge too.
