Blood levels

Last Monday, I went to my gastroentologist. He told me that a lot of my bloodwork was a little on the low side. He doesn't seem too concerned right now. The holistic doctor is really concerned though. Why would one doctor be more concerned than the other? Happy Thanksgiving to all.

Wish I had the answer to that for you! I wonder the same thing about my doctors. My PCP will run blood work and something will come back high and my GI will get a copy and say it's not a big deal or other way around. I always ask for copies of all blood work so I can keep track of it myself. I really don't understand doctors at all.

Have you asked your GI why he doesn't feel the low levels are any reason of concern and have you asked the holistic Dr why he or she thinks they are? Would be interesting to see what they say. Happy Thanksgiving to you as well.
