It's a bit of a haul - 2 hours or so - but you may want to go to the IBD Center at UNC Chapel Hill. They have a top notch program there and you are likely to get excellent care.
If you are newly diagnosed I think it's ideal to start with a center like that then, once you get stable, you can decide whether to continue with them or look for someone closer to home. And they may have a recommendation of someone they work with.
