Heart feels like it is literally skipping a beat...humira?

The past few days I have been feeling like my heart is literally skipping a beat every few minutes. It isnt all the time just randomly and then it stops. I am on Humira and taking one-two capfuls of Miralax a day for bacteria overgrowth(from having my ileocecal valve removed last year)/constipation.It isnt happening at any specific time(resting or excersizing). I kind of blew it off the first couple of times it has happened but now it is starting to worry me a little. Has anyone else had this happen before?

I dont want my doctor to think I am crazy if I call, it isnt happeneing all the time so I am afraid he would call me in and nothing would happen. That would be my luck.

The Humira Insert, says to tell your doc if you have heart failure or other heart conditions. It also says in the what symptoms should I watch for:

New heart failure or worsening of heart failure you already have. Symptoms include shortness of breath or swelling of your ankles or feet, or sudden weight gain.

It doesn't sound like what you are having. However, the best way I think to move forward is to see your GP, and get an EKG and maybe a referral to a cardiologist just to make sure everything is fine.

I hope it's nothing, and it was just some transitory.

Yep, time for a trip to the cardiologist. Palpitations can be either benign or something serious so a 12 lead EKG in order! They will also draw labs to check for anemia and other conditions. They will get to the bottom of it. Good luck!
