* did a lot of the ironing
* watched the cricket
* enjoyed listening to callers having existential crises on the radio: wot, we lost the cricket? It's the end of the world as we know it! Somebody must be to blame for this disaster!
* pottered in the garden
* was totally evil and didn't do anywhere near as much housework as I "should" have.
I'm stumped for ideas, folks, seeing as I used my creativity planning Christmas and am still tired.
a. any ideas on what an apparently friendless person should do for New Years' Eve? I get free fireworks as the display is launched a block from my house, but ideas for what to do before the two displays would be most welcome
b. what do normal people do on beach holidays? So far I have swim, wade, and build sand castles. Ummmmm.... Beach cricket is out, because, once again, I'll be by myself... ideas?? (No, I'm not going anywhere; I live in a tourist seaside destination, but it's years since I've been anywhere near well enough to enjoy it during the summer. Familiarity with the town breeds cluelessness as to fun things I can do).
Oh well. Beddy byes for me. 'night all.
Sorry about
the bleeding, Choc. Perhaps it doesn't mean anything: maybe, like skinned knees, wounds just
open and bleed a little as they heal? That's just supposition, as I haven't had major surgery yet.
