had key hole surgery oct2010     i had gall bladder out and stones    ,so i should not be getting no more attacks ,,,,the problem i have is iv had 6 attacks that are exstrealy painfull and make me very sick its like iv gall stones again    i dont know what to think my doc fobs me off he say iv no stones he  makes out its all in my head but im really suffering im waiting to have scan just hope it shows up on it what evers causeing me the pain is it possable to have snones still afther the key hole surgery please can some one help me thanks shakehead

Is the pain in the same area as the gallbladder? Maybe you have developed some painful scar tissue or adhesions? Problem is if it is scar tissue/adhesions they really don't like to do surgery for those, as the surgery will just create more scar tissue Do you have Crohns Disease also? If so, have you spoken to a GI about this? Hugs!

I had some of the worst pains ever after having my gallbladder out.  It continued a couple times a month for probably 7 or 8 years until we got my Crohn's completely under control (minus having the Crohn's related arthritis under control).  I had horrible stomach pains that would bring me to the floor and I would cry so much.  It would just take some time to pass.  Pain would radiate up my back and shoulders...is this what you are experiencing?

I felt really really awful after I had my gallbladder out. It took me 3 weeks to feel good enough to return to my normal activities, but I kept having the pain and diarrhea. My idiot GI did the same thing--didn't want to hear about it and insisted that I was "killing myself with stress." It took another four years before my Crohn's was diagnosed--at which point I needed an emergency resection.

So don't let your GI tell you that it's in your head. It isn't.
