Anal Plug Surgery

My husband has Crohn's disease and is having the anal plug procedure done in 2 days. I have read the negative stories, but I am looking for any positive outcomes that give us some hope going into the surgery. Please... nothing negative. Thanks!!

ps. There's some discussion of plugs if in the "abscesses and fistulae" link in my signature. I haven't read them for a while so can't remember if they're positive or negative, but you might like to read it to hear some of our members' personal experiences with plug surgery.

This isn't discussed very often on the forum - I think it's less common than other procedures - so I think the link in my signature would be the best place for you to start.
