Humira is on it's way!

Just saw my GI yesterday and got the go ahead to start Humira... I've had my TB test, lab work, blood cultures, urinalysis, and yesterday 3 vaccines--flu, pneumonia, and Hepatitis. So, now I'm just waiting on the drug... I'm SOOOO nervous about starting this. I was shaking like a leaf during my appointment yesterday, but his argument is compelling enough for me to start. Wish me luck.

I was very nervous when I started Humira too but after I started taking it and it put me in remission, those nerves were a thing of the past. Hope you are feeling better soon!

Good luck on the Humira! It has worked wonders for a lot of people so here's hoping you are one of the many! It did a great job of controlling my crohn's but caused other issues so I had to go off of it. Hope everything goes in your favor!

I do understand the nervousness, but please do try to remember what a wonderful thing this could be for you if it works

Great news!

My hands shook as I did the first injection, but I got over that as well, and have done well on it. It's kept me from obstructing as often, and has kept my CD in remission!

Good luck to you. You're stronger than you think, and you can do it!
