Question for the moderators

I don't know anything about this, Babe, but maybe one of the other moderators might know something.

I pointed to this link. Is this considered duplicating posting? Can you post to other links on the Internet but not to other HealingWell links?

The moderators are not in the habit of deleting posts without appropriate reason or explanation. If people "don't buy" our explanations, please send one of us or the admin an email addressing your concerns.

I am not aware of the aforementioned deleted post. If I was, I would have stated so on this thread.

I do not recall the post either, and I did not delete that one. I feel that generally peer reviewed academic journal articles that are recently published are pretty acceptable as long as there is not something very apparently incorrect in their research methodology. Please also realize that every forum on here is different.

I would certainly appreciate posts that do not require caveats for people's safety.

However I think I have found the issue, because I happen to notice that there is a Map post in the CF forum instead of the CD forum?

Because given that clearly crohn's post is in the incorrect forum, the CF mods might have gone in to delete the one on the CF forum and accidently deleted the one in crohns. I really do not know, but I could see how that might happen since they are right next to each other.

btw, I think it's usually best to assume that there has been a glitch or a mistake, rather than some sort of vindictive / aggressive / undue activity on behalf of Admin or the moderators .

Every now and then we do have to start deleting a member's posts, wholesale, but there has usually been a very clear progression before we reach that point, and both the member and the moderators know what is happening, and why. Usually this is a way of keeping an argumentative, spamming or harmful member at bay until Admin can come online and ban the person.

If a post seems to disappear out of the blue, then it has probably disappeared through some sort of error, and a bit of discussion and investigation, and a lot of understanding and kindness, can usually sort it out .
