Where are you all?? Hope something nice is keeping you away as opposed to not feeling good.

Just had to share, DS passed his driving test today :D He has had such a rollercoaster ride this year with diagnosis, tests, more tests blah blah(you all know how it is) I am just so happy that something nice has happened for him :) (Not that I can afford to insure a car for him(way more expensive than buying a car lol)

Vixen, congrats to your son! Is it possible for him to get a part time job to pay for his insurance? That's what I had to do. Parents helped me buy a car, and I had to pay for gas and insurance.

I'm still not feeling 100%, but feeling much better than I was. Now I'm having a lot of D from the antibiotic, but even while at work, I'm not far from a bathroom. I really wish I didn't have to work today, but I have to work when they give me hours. Shifts have been sparse lately, so I'll take what I can get!

For today:
*shower
*clean up a bit around the house
*pick up book at library (my kindle broke :( and work is slow, so I need to have something to read with me to pass the time)
*work 4p-8p
*come home and relax!

Hi all!!!

I am sooo tired today. I think its a combo of leftover jet lag from the trip and the stressors I had this week at work. Yesterday I had my a nail appt and afterwards went home and slept on the couch for about an hour, went and took my shower and fell fast asleep in no time. Normally wake up once to go to the bathroom, but not lastnight, I slept till my alarm went off. lol

My tlc's for today are going to only be a few:

Finish workday
Go to healthfood store and pick up more probiotics
Go to grocery store and pick up needed items
Go home and rest as needed

Hope your day passes quickly Becky, so you can go home and rest. Woohoo vixen on your son passing his driving test.

Monkiray-Just did a currency converter to see what £3000 is in US dollars- $4,897 lol. Insurance here especially for young male drivers is extortionate :( If he was to get part time job and could get £5 hour he would need to work 600 hours(not even taking into consideration that the minimum wage for 17 year olds is £3.64. As well as being in the final run up to his A level exams(lots of revision and course work to do)
It isn't nice having to work when you aren't 100 % everything you do just knocks the stuffing out of you even more. At least if work is slow it will give you chance to get into a new book :)
Nanners-jet lag is bad enough for anyone without dealing with crohns and work stress thrown in too(not a nice combination)
You guys deserve a medal for everything you manage to accomplish

Congrats to your son, Vixen! THat's brilliant, and will make so much difference to his quality of life and, I'm guessing, his self-esteem. I'm thrilled for him.

Wednesday was super-busy for me with appts etc, so no time to post a tlc. Feeling dreadful, too, which doesn't help. Glad the antibiotics have been helping you, Becky. Nanners, I hope you feel rested and better soon.

Ok, I take back my earlier comment. $400 a month is pretty average for a young male. It would be the same here. I paid about that when I was first driving.
