Remistart Program help

My husband is currently on remicade for crohns. We are enrolled in the remistart program.  Just wondering if the program is an annual program, meaning will they help us every year with the cost of his treatments? Or is it a one time deal?  He is also signed up for the remistart extended access program.  Our health insurance got cut this year and we currently have a $9000 deductable, With a 15,000 out of pocket max. We make only 40,000 a year combined so as you can see we will have a hard time affording the medication.  We were going to apply for medical assistance through the state but it states that if we do remistart wont help us. 

I am not sure where you live but you also may want to check on a medicaide type program if you are in the US. I have medicare since I am on SSDI and due to my low income I have Oregon health plan which covers my monthly medicare copay as well as doc co pays. Also due to high cost of humira, singulai, pentasa and entocort they have me on a low cost drug go pay and when I hit a certain out of pocket (I think it is the medicare one) then I have no copy...this year I had to pay 2 motnhs of copays wth my Humira being 6.40 as well as other name brands and generics are 2.50

I'm enrolled as well, but never used it until my last infusion, I'm on ssdi as well but medicare won't kick in until Aug. 2012. I have had last infusion on april 7th I had cigna, they paid but my responsibility will be $1,900 remistart or access one will have me pay $250 co-pay. if I would have used them on every infusion it would have been $50 copay every infusion. but since cigna picked it all up I never bothered with them. until I looked at our EOB. and I saw that we will owe $1,900. remistart said send them the eob;s when you get them, I'm still enrolled
