just a quick comment on the serology 7 test...my test was positive for crohn's in jan....i went for a second opinion-just got out of my colonoscopy and the dr. said no signs of crohn's. is is it that easy to diagnose??? i supposedly was diagnosed in 2007 by CTscan, re-confirmed i thought with the serology 7, now, a new colonoscopy this morning shows no signs of crohn's??...the dr. saw my CT scan reports from 2007-2008 stating the probability of crohn's, but wanted to check it out for himself...i have follow-up next week i assume to check on the biopsies he took, but i am still completely confused....he was saying that even if i had crohn's(and now it's not active) that i shouldn't be on pentasa at all...it there ever any definitive answer?...why would my GI in SC put me on pentasa after seeing the scans?....oh, the dr. today said to continue taking the pentasa at least until i see him again next week....how can i keep having all these tests with different opinions??..i know i have so many questions and never seem to remember what to say when i'm actually at the office-so thanks to ALL on this site-it is priceless!!
