Could Prednisone be causing my "kidney" aches....???

I just got off the phone with the NP and my culture came back negative for any bacteria. I did have a UTI last week which they treated with a 3 day regimen of Bactrim. Well, my kidneys/back are still achey and I'm still have some discomfort when I urinate.. but there's no bacteria? Anyone else have achey kidneys/ UTI symptoms while on Prednisone?? I'm at a loss now.

Hey Dana, I wonder if you might have a small kidney stone. Has anyone suggested this?

Well, my dr. said could be flare or could possibly be prednisone. He wants to continue with the remicade, but it's at least going to be put off until next week. I'm just not wanting to get it at all! I'm not sure why even, it's almost a gut feeling lol pardon the pun. . .

I think it's mostly because I'm so frustrated with it. I feel like it's not working anymore and my doctor wanted to give it one more try (moved it up about 4 weeks) to see. Of course it'll be later now bc I didn't get it yesterday. This disease has taken over my life lately :( I'm just so tired of it ya know?
