Wrong Humira delivered

Just the other day my GI upped my Humira injections from 1 40mg pen every 14 days to 1 40mg pen every 10 days. They always send me a month supply. So Yesterday I received my prescription and when I open the bag lo and behold there were 2 boxes with 2 pediatric 20mg syringes each. The delivery man had already left and I was stuck with these pediatric syringes and on a Friday. So I have to wait until monday to speak to anyone. Luckily my next injection is next Saturday and hopefully I will have my 40mg pens by then. But now I'm really anxious that they won't take them back and bring me the right ones before Saturday. I'm sure they will but the anxiety is still there. I didn't think I would ever feel so attached to an injection but that's the case, I want my Humira safe in my refrigerator!

When I was on Humira I always had a syringe. I've never had a pen for anything. The idea of injecting it all at once just sounds painful. I liked the syringes, once I got past the whole I'm-about-to-stab-myself thing (by closing my eyes haha).

Anyway, hope they get you the right dosages!

As I understand the mail this member posted was that the dose of meds was incorrect she recieved meds that are for a pediatric patient as opposed to 40mg of Humira they recieved 20mg. I personally do also prefer the syringe over the pens. I would def call both your pharmacy and insurance and possibly GI office they should straiten this out for you
