* REST, because I am wrecked
* maybe plant some seedlings, but don't overdo it

WEll thats good news about the pig!

Man the left side of head and ear does feel hot though.  Can't seem to shake the feeling.  I imagine I know what it is finally catching up with me.  Will try to get to the DR Wed afternoon.

Ivy -- glad to see that :) for piglet. Rest up. Planting seedlings sounds nice, but isn't worth overdoing it.

Vixen -- hope you get right in Weds

Tues I'm trying to give myself a day off so:
- get daughter off to preschool
- try again to get urgent GI appt
- reschedule an appt for mom
- follow up on mom's waitlist appt
- nap with the baby :)
- yoga
- hydrate!
- sorting project with daughter
- drink more fluids!
- book a pedicure for my CT reward
- clean only the bare minimum
- drinky drinky
- upload and send photo album to friend
- take a walk with the kids if I have energy. Depends on whether I'm able to eat.

If half of thus happens it'll be a great day.

She is ok right now Ivy- bearing in mind we are a day behind you. This time tomorrow she will turn into a quivering wreck when she recognises where the car is going! It feels me with dread getting this done as she is well into old age now and I panic that she will not wake up again.
Re piggies- was wondering how you carry them? With 'scatty' ones I have found that if you hold them in flat of hand with their head facing up your arm and each hind leg hanging each side of your fingers they don't make any flying bids for freedom :) I guess it is because their hind legs have nothing to push off against(just a thought).
mdf 34-hope you are feeling more with it soon.
Inflamed-That sounds like a full on day-and you are giving yourself a day off(?) lol

As for me, nif naff and trivia really, check out some car insurance quotes, do a few things on the phone and enjoy dd's company(currently home for Easter) All her friends in Japan checked in and were ok but must admit I am going to be living on my nerves when she is out there :(

Gosh, Vixen, when's she leaving? And where's she going?

This little fellow likes to snuggle in the crook of my elbow and will struggle and fight until he can get there, but I will try the hand technique. I worry about squashing their little tummies, though?

My little fellow is tentatively starting to chew again: the occasional soft bit of grass here; the occasional pellet there. That's good, because he's struggling with the feeds, and it means I can stretch them out for a few days, instead of stressing him with five feeds all at once.

Inflamed - exactly what Vixen said. i'm tired just reading that!

How are our two arty men today? mdf, I hope you're feeling better by the time you see this and, failing that, that you can get to see the doctor asap.

Super-tired today. Might just pretend I don't have dinner dishes to do, give piglet his evening feed, and tuck myself into bed, and mollycoddle myself, just as I'm mollycoddling the pigs.

hey everyone,

so i've dropped back in again! Cant remember when i last was in so will do a brief summary!

* surgery 15th november
* xmas eve - symptoms slip back badly
* jan 31st - stool test (3331 when <50 normal)
* ct scan - 4th march. confirmed crohn's back
* 24th march - admitted for IV steroids, with a 1kg weight loss over 9 days prior to admission (54.7kgs)
* 30th march - retry infliximab. no reaction this time but only time will tell. premedication the way forward!
* 2nd april - another bladder infection, trip to walk in centre for antibiotics. weight 59kgs!!

today i'm heading into hospital again to have the required blood test done. Hoping CRP will be down to 'normal' as it was over 60 during admission and dropped to 6!

Mum and her fella have put an offer in on a house, it has a downstairs bedroom and ensuite for me! Its lovely, or it will be once we get it out of the time warp!

Kittys are doing really well, growing like weeds and getting far too full of themselves. Me, mum, her fella and my mate have all signed up to do the York Crohn's and Colitis Uk walk on the 22nd of may. So it should be a good day out!

I think thats all my news, sorry i just vanished, everything just happened all at once and it got too much. I feel in a better place now, with most things!

She will be flying out September and will be spending a year in Tokyo :(
I don't think their tummies get squashed, their front legs would sit on your wrist so they still have a bit of leverage but not enough to launch themselves :) I think it is them going into shock that causes the most problems, the tooth will grow and the soreness on the lip should pass fairly quickly. He may appreciate some bread and milk or there was something called 'bran mash' which looks like brown porridge oats that you give to horses, that mixed with warm water used to go down well too.
Hey Choc, good to hear from you. It sounds like you have been having a 'full on' time of it! How nice is that-a house with your own bedroom away from the rest of them with an ensuite :) Well done you on signing up for the walk. It is one that I quite fancy doing myself but at the moment my 'hands are tied'! We will be holding a clay pigeon shoot in June though so hopefully will raise much needed funds.

Vixen -- it wasn't so much since a lot of the list pertained to phone calls (that I didn't end up doing)
Choc -- welcome back. I just returned myself.

Accomplished:
- get daughter off to preschool

- and I ate some solids
