Hi everyone~

I am looking for an adult gi in the Philadelphia area.  I use remicade to keep my crohn's under control.

Pretty soon CHOP will be kicking me out.  Any suggestions?

There is a lady crohns doctor who follows Patience from CHOP to University of Penn. When I think of her name I will post it.

Whats CHOP? Sorry if I'm just slow and everyone knows but me. But I've never seen or heard that reference about anything. Why dont you check out the Crohns and colitis foundation of america they haev a list of GI's on their website...although I dont believe its quite as complete as it could be its a start.

Look up the group at presby.. Alan Lichtnestein is well known and they are very good.  Does your GI at CHOP recommend anyone...

CHOP stands for Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.

yes they did suggest someone at U of Penn.  Just

thought I would look for other suggestions.  wink

My hubs sees a doc from Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. They have a satellite office nearer to where we actually live, and he sees his doc there. My hubs has been a patient there for almost 4 years! His doc is Jeffrey Abrams. Hubs has been a remicade patient for 3 years now. He loves his doc!

How close are you to the Philly area? I see a GI in Ephrata area (about 1 hour outside of Phila - off the PA Turnpike.
