I'm back!! I hope you are all doing well. I haven't been on for awhile but I had a follow up appt with my GI today and it made me think of this page. Missed you all and the support we give to each other. I am doing the best I have been in several years. That might just be because my Sox are finally playing great! After all 04+07 =11 so 2011 must be the year for another World Series!?! I think so!! Since I've been feeling so much better I decided to start school in the fail. I'm going for phlebotomy and hope to great at it! Would love to be the one who draws blood and doesn't leave someone with a huge bruise or help comfort a patient when they are nervous or scared. My anxiety from this disease has gone down a ton that could be I now take at least 5+ immdium ad a day. I seem to be more relaxed when I take them. If I start to get nervous I take a few more. I'm sure it's not good for me but it sure helps relax me. I hope everyone is hanging in there and enjoying this Spring weather!

Glad to see you back, and Super Excited the Sox are finally over 500. (love a good walk off win). As for the Immodium. I was told I could take up to 8 day, will no ill effect. Hope that helps.

I'm happy you are pursuing schooling. I love when this DD doesn't stop someone from doing something they want to do. I'm sure you will be great at it.

As a new forum member, it's good to hear of another cronie doing good. As a lifetime Cards fan, it hasn't been long enough yet for me to say anything further that's fit for this forum.

Yeah Red glad to see you posting again. And it comes at a great time as we have some new members who are fretting that they will never have a life again. You are someone who can show that you can have a life with Crohns and get over the anxiety it brings too:)

Thank you! Two years ago I would never have thought I would be doing what I am. This disease sure hasn't been easy to live with but I have learned so much about myself. If I can deal with this I can pretty much get through anything.

Zanne - Good to know about that it's ok to take up to 8 a day. I go through a pack of 48 every two weeks sometimes sooner.

Thanks all!! Going to a Sugarland concert on Friday! Few months ago I would have never have gone would have bought the ticket and backed out. But I am going and I am going to have fun! Having all of the support from this page has helped so much with this process.

Anyone out there reading this and having a hard time hang in there. It will get better for you eventually. It might never seem like it will but trust me it will.
