Hi i have bad pain round my belly button has anyone else ever experienced this or no wat it is?? Thanks.

Pain is usually associated with the presence of inflammation. It's not normal. I have cramping/pain in the large intestine area going across the belly button area when I'm not in remission.

What meds are you on? when did you get diagnosed? what are your symptoms?

Hi im on prednisolone and calcium i have inflamation in my colen. Also have constipation but over the last few days the pain spreads from low right side and across my belly button its so hurts. Any information would be great thanks

Hi new to crohns and I am so sorry you are hurting so. It could possibly be obstruction pains you are having. The symptoms of an obstruction are pain that comes in waves, much like labor pains, really bloated stomach. You can't seem to move air out of either direction and you feel like you need to go to the bathroom, but nothing come out. Also you can have nausea and if you start throwing up can sometimes throw up feces.

Since you are newly diagnosed hopefully this is just an inflammation obstruction and hopefully meds will help to reduce it, but if its scar tissue meds generally will not help it.

If the pain is really bad, please do not hesitate to go to the ER. Hugs!
