One of my coworkers brought me about a dozen cherries yesterday.  I ate about 10 of them, had no problems with them, so didn't think much of it after that.

Well they decided to wait a day and revisit.  I have been a pooping fool all day and got so nauseous with it.  Oh well another thing to knock off my list:)  I also know they were the cause cuz I saw them almost whole in the toilet.  Haha..

Yeah, that's the worst.  I missed my usual birthday cake this year, cherry cheesecake, because I was afraid of the cherries.

I wish I'd only see cherries, but no, fries, chicken, lettuce, well everything I eat revisit me. Ha, I never
have a problem remembering what I've eaten the day before, or for lunch the same day. A good thing
when you're 60 I guess.

Oh no, not cherries!!! I am sorry they got you sick. It's sad when just a few of something can do ya in. They used to get me too and I love them. I've also had foods take a day to make me sick too. I hope you feel better soon Gail. You've had a lot going on recently and deserve a break.

Ohhhhhh, geeeeeeeeee . I hate to say this but cherries don't bother me . I eat all I want plus I love the wild cherries that grow down here. We cant grow the store kind . The little wild ones make a great wine too , ah hmmmm , my favorite form of eating cherries .

Does your co-worker hate you? Why would they be so mean as to leave those big red cherry bombs just sitting on your desk! I think there is evil afoot at your place of employment. Call HR, this was physical and mental harassment. darned if you ate, darned if you didn't. turn

Hope you feel better now. I always end up eating a few and then suffering later. Its the nature of the beast. If something was off limits for a few weeks or a season, we could handle it, but whole categories of food are off limits for our life, and will power is only so strong.

Thanks guys!! Zanne I have been able to eat them in the past, so a little surprised at the reaction they gave me.

But I guess I really shouldn't be. Things that normally agree with me have been bothering me of late. I think I am more than likely in a little denial as I have been feeling rough alot more of late. I know part of it the stress I have been experiencing so now starting to wonder if I am flaring again.

Didn't eat much at all yesterday, and didn't take my stool softner lastnight and have been pooping alot this morning already and feeling kinda crampy. Its either a flare or the cherries still getting me, I don't know anymore.

Oh well, doing blood work today, and GI appt on Monday. He will help me figure it all out. Hugs!

Kind of lends new meaning to life is a bowl of cherries huh?  Just wish it wasn't the toilet bowl!  I have the problem with cherries and blueberries and most other fruit.

I don't want to downplay the way you have been feeling lately, but another thought is are you going through a diet change.  In the past 20 years, my CD diet of what I can have has changed majorly twice.  Unfortunately, it never adds new things I can have and only takes more away.  Ahhhh the joy of aging.

Nope Habs I have to stop being in denial. I am pretty sure I am flaring again. Everytime I eat anything even soup, I am in the bathroom multiple times afterwards. Been having lots of nausea too. Dr appt on Monday, so we will see what he says. HugS!
