Hi, I posted the other day but didn't really introduce myself. Accck! Sorry! My name is Nancy, I've had Crohn's for 26yrs, I had and Ileocolonic Resection in 2000. The last 5 yrs have been hell for me being on and off steroids, and because I was so sick it messed up my gallbladder and I had to have it removed. I have other immune system disorders: Asthma since childhood, Hashimoto's Thyroid, and Depression/Anxiety. Thanks for being kind and answering my questions! Nancy

Hi hottamale and welcome to Healingwell. I am another longterm crohnie, so welcome to our little family, although sorry for the reason you have to be here:(

I have been in remission for about 5-6 years and am in my first flare up in awhile. Oh well you know what that means, more lovely steroids to kill my bones some more:) I am sure you can relate.
