Should I stop taking Humira???

Hi

I have been taking humira now since nov 2010 because I have crohns. I recently took remicade and had to get off of it because of severe joint pain.

Well It has started again. I take humira every 2 weeks and about 4 days before my injection I start experiencing joint pain. The day before my injection and can barely get out of bed. I can`t live like this

I sopke with my GI and he may put me on humira once a week. I really don`t and can`t deal with this pain.

What should I do?

DO I stop taking it. I took nearly 2 months before the remicade got out of my system. How long will it take with humira?

I didn't have joint pain while taking Remicade or Humira... but when I stopped my humira I had horrible joint pains for about 2 months. I was on a weekly dose as well. The only thing that helped my joints was prednisone. It doesn't seem like your joint pain would get any better if you have a history of joint pain on remicade. Talk to your GI, you shouldn't have to live with that pain.
