Started on Humira this week. Waiting to feel results. Had done Remicade for 10 years with excellent results until 2 months ago. Hoping Humira will be as good for me. Trying to keep a positive attitude. Thank you for sharing your stories they give me so much encouragement in these dark days.

Good luck, Jen. And keep posting, so everyone here will know how you're doing. Dealing with this disease can be lonely, and there's lots of good company here!

Good luck! my GI told me that Humira was the Bud-light of Remicade and it didn't do a thing for me other than cost me alot of $$$$$$ (even with private insurance).
i couldnt epi-pen myself in the stomach so a nurse was sent over to my place every sunday and i almost punched her the first time because of the unbelievable burning sensation i had from it. we tried for 2 months then i told my GI that it was over. i still had all the symptoms of a crohn's attack.
i hope you have a more positive experience!

I have heard the TOTAL opposite of what Noories was told. I have heard that when Remicade fails, Humira is the logical next step. Hope it works as well as the Remicade did for you. Hugs!!
