I am trying to use as much regular products as possible like tonight I substituted kraft grated parmesan in the plastic container instead of bread crumbs. I have lots of print offs on safe products..I have not tried any gluten free bakery type specialty products yet except some cookies from Schars..They were not cheap..I found you could eat Chex and many other regular brand cereals right off the shelf cheaper. General Mills and Kraft ect's websites had lists of gluten free products..Fresh fruits, veggies, meats, eggs, rice, potatoes, and spices are all gluten free. I cook most stuff from scratch myself it is eating out that gets tricky..I found Wendy's salads, chili, baked potatoes,, and frosties are gluten free so that is the only eating out I have done. I am on day 9. I found many labels now tell you whether it is gluten free or list the potential allergies on the label. I was baby food and meal replacement shake bound for awhile and wondered when I would ever eat regular food..Raw fruits and veggie would have sent me into agony..Now, I just have the side effects of predisone to deal with and a real weight problem when my CD was bad I would not eat so no weight problem then..
