Introduction

Hello! I'm 25 years old and just joined the forum.  I was diagnosed at 17 with CD; however, have been struggling with stomach problems since I was 5.  I have acid reflux, thyroid disease  (treated with radioactive iodine to kill thyroid 3 years ago), and irregular heart beat. I have been on multiple medications for CD and was close to remission 3 years ago and haven't even been on CD meds in 3 years; however, after a major flare-up a few weeks ago and a new colonoscopy showing lots of CD speading throughout I am going to start Humira injections next week.  I'm excited to learn lots from everyone on here.  Any input is greatly appreciated.

I was on entocort and had a major reaction. I started rejecting the steroids and built up a large amout of corisone in my body. So, they took me off meds for a while so my body could adjust and I actually did pretty good. I only took lomotil as needed and occasionally needed it for a few days, but other than that pretty much okay. However, at the end of July I started getting pretty sick again. I've been back on Pentasa for 4 weeks and no results so its Humira for me.
