I'm off to bed now... gruelling last hour. Colon went into overdrive, and I laid on the bathroom floor. There were a few seriously loud gurgles, some quieter ones, 'digging' pains, and whatnot. I can't describe it very well, but it's all so much more uncomfortable and painful than it sounds in text.
Just had another 'glug' in the lower right... Honestly, beginning to suspect partial bowel obstructions. Could be wrong. But this isn't normal crohn's activity for me. And when the consultant felt my stomach he mentioned tinkling bowel sounds... But then the abdominal x-ray the next day showed diddly-squat of interest apparently, so I decided it probably wasn't that.
Sorry for going on so much. Not expecting you to respond in the same detail as me. Truth is, it's 3:49am and I feel ground down and a bit scared. I'm so dependent on doctors just to know what's even happening inside me, let alone treat it, and it induces a sense of melancholy and pessimism at this late hour.
At least my colon seems to have finally calmed down. I've got 2 pills to take now; pray that it doesn't set it going again..
Goodnight, ivy, and once again thanks for putting up with my rambling... :-/
Edit: Argh, an ominous rumble. And I forgot to mention how purely sick I felt.
Would've taken an anaphylactic reaction to my first Remicade dose than this, tbh. Anyhow, tablets... done... :-/
