I am wondering if any out there has HS and Crohns? I am a 34 year old female and was diagnosed in January of this year with mild to moderate Crohns. (this is my first post, I have been a lurker thus far and have learned quite a bit from this site). I think I am doing pretty good with the Crohn's at the moment; I am on 4g Pentatas/day, vitamin D, B12 nasal spray, Vit C, Vit A, zinc, probiotic. It wasn't until I was diagnosed with crohns that I was formally diagnosed with HS, although I have had HS for 18 years (groin only). My HS was usually dismissed all these years as a skin disorder with no cure; I have taken many rounds of antibiotics with no result. My latest HS flare has gotten the doctor's attention however. I have had a golfball size boil in my groin that has been oozing pus since January. I am currently waiting for culture results and word on what to do next. Some things that have been mentioned are a barium x-ray and an appointment with a surgeon. Just wondering if anyone else has this combo. There appears to be a link based on the literature I have come across.
