Hello,
I am 17 years old and I have recently been diagnosed with Crohn's disease.
The worse symptoms for me are bloating and fatigue. Every night I go to sleep looking
like I am 6 months pregnant. No matter what I eat my stomach gets bigger and bigger and
bigger through out the day. lately it has gotten to the point where am bloated all day long. Its horrible.
I am a dancer and I have to wear tight leotards to dance every evening, It is very uncomfortable going
to dance class with a big belly. I am absolutely DESPERATE to get rid of this bloating. I will do ANYTHING!
Usually I eat very healthy. I eat oatmeal for breakfast every morning, I eat a lot of soup, plain baked potatoes,
chicken, and veggies. I also chew a lot of gum regularly, is this something that is adding to the problem? are there
certain foods that I should be avoiding? I have also started a new medication called Pentasa. will that help with my bloating at all?
Please HELP!!!!!! I am in complete misery about
this!
