Crohn's Disease can acuse inflammation and ulceration throught the entire GI tract - from the lips to the anus. What many people don't think of is that it can also affect any organ related to the GI tract including the sinuses, tonsils, lungs, gall bladder, liver, pancreas & appendix. In some cases it can even affect non related organs like the kidneys and skin.
Although gall stones may be more common in Crohnies, it's possible that inflammation alone may be the culprit for some of us, as it was for me. However, your pain really does not sound like it's GB related. GB problems most often cause pain on the upper right side under the ribs which radiates around the ribs to the back. Usually the pain intensifies after eating, easpecially if one eats a high fat meal, where more bile would be required.
I hope you find some answers and relief soon.
