Off work with Shingles

Well my Occupational Health Nurse said I most likely will be off work for at least 7 days. I work in a hospital and I always have support at work and home. Sure makes things easier when dealing with this horrible disease.

Yup, been there, done that. I sure am sorry that you've encountered shingles. They are NOT fun and can be VERY painfull! VERY! I certainly don't care to encountere them again!! My sympathies. I hope they pass quickly for you w/no residual side effects!

For my shingles, I use a Penetrating Spray bought at health stores. It's called LarreaRx, and it workd wonders especially when you first start to feel the tingling and burning. It is an extract of Larrea tridentata and is for external use only. This spray is the only thing that ever eased my pain with shingles.

Hugs!!! I hope this clears up soon for you. I have never had them, but have had friends who have, and they were very painful.
