Since September 30, 2011, I suffered from a proctitis flare up. I had to try a lot of meds until finally this flare up was put under control last week by taking Tavanic 500, Orindazole 1500 and budesonide enema. Two days ago, I started vomiting, having explosive D and abdominal pain. I called my doc and he insisted that I should finish the 10-day antibiotic course, take Zofran inj and anti-spasmodic injection. At the beginning, things settled down but starting yesterday, these symptoms returned again. Today, was the peak. I have this dull intestinal pain which I haven't had for a month now (all my complaint was that of proctitis), no painkiller relieves it. It's not that alarming that I should rush to the ER but it is the same pain I have had for years and was happy that I finally got rid of it. Add up, I have painful D with abdominal pain that last after a bowel movement as usual, had breakfast and my usual meds (Nexium 40, Tavanic, 2 Pentasa tablets and 2 multivitamins) but could not bear it, kept vomiting and finally fainted. Is this a new flare up despite my being in a flare up? I had to ask a colleague to substitute for me and I don't like to absent from work. Bye the way, I haven't changed my diet recently.
Any advice?
Thank you
