Remi dosage

My boy has been on Renicaide since January 18. the change is amazing. he has gained 28 lbs and grown about 3 inches. We have always worried about side effects. i have heard and read that people notice that their health deteriorates in the lat days or weeks leading up to the next infusion. my son does not notice any failings just prior to his infusion, or any improvement after his infusion. he just remains constant. does anyone else go through this, and has the GI lowered the dosage based on physical well being? thanks for the input

My brother has been on Remicade since he was diagnosed back spring of 09, he sounds like your son in the fact that he really doesn't notice much from getting his remicade, he may be a bit more fatigued leading up to it but nothing very noticeable. I believed the doctor lowered his dosage and he has gone from 8 weeks to every 10 weeks, he is doing great.
