Saturday tlc

Starting this up again for NCOT, who sounds as if she needs it.

* shower and dress (done)
* put pigs out to play
* plant something
* do a tiny bit of weeding or pruning or pulling
* do a bit of grooming (badly needed)
* make some progress on laundry piles
* cook something
* put away stock
* get yesterday's shopping out of the car
* put yesterday's shopping away
* do some tidying
* read
* watch dvd
* embroidery? craft? research recipes?
* REST

Grrrr. I typed a reply, and it disappeared on me.

I'm not surprised there's no Magician's film. So few people have heard of the book; it'd hardly make the money that the others would. I'd be willing to bet they won't make The Horse either - too many (currently) iffy cultural references in there, apart from anything else.

My list really isn't daunting. I just need to start things; not finish them.

As for The Magician's Nephew, it's not easily filmable. Also, as you said, hardly anyone who hasn't read the books has heard of it, whereas everybody knows the next book, The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe. At least two books are being left out and the second one is The Horse and his Boy, I think.

What I've done so far:

Yeah, once I thought about it, I realised it had to be FB only...

I resisted FB until this summer, then I decided to take the plunge. I've switched my brain off to the privacy issues; besides it's other places (like this one!) that contains the truly personal stuff I wouldn't want people IRL seeing. On FB all I have are endless FV posts, which would bore any non-FV player to tears. (Not posts written by me, I hasten to add, but automatically generated posts to the newsfeed whenever I do the smallest action in FV - harvest crops, blow my nose, etc.)

Hey conmire I think you are getting me and Ivy mixed up. Ivy is out on disability for life I think, and I am the one who just returned to work. Haha....
