Hi! :p
Sounds like things are going well for you - I'm envious >_>. I'll bet there's no holidays available for older people with IBD, 'cos there never is anything available to the over 25s, presumably on the grounds we are over the hill and past it. Nah, seriously, I have been to Amsterdam before and it's a great place. I stayed in Holland for a month when I was 17 and really liked the place and the people.
The riding sounds good.
You don't really want to know how I am >_>. If you haven't seen, I had a massive flare-up which resulted in two hospital stays adding up to a fortnight in total. This was a few weeks ago. I'm nominally 'better'. Well I am, to be fair. The inflammation has gone right down and I'm no longer having the deathly horrible fevers.
Had a scope a few days ago which still shows CD in my colon, but the stricture a CT scan had revealed in hospital has gone.
I'm on Remicade; had my 3rd infusion in hospital, due the next one in December. I have hydrocortisone beforehand and my infusions last about 2 hours - thought that was the normal length of time for them, tbh. At any rate, I don't mind the infusions themselves at all. The staff are nice, the chairs are comfy.
Depression has hit me hard since the scope. The loss of my hopes, the utter lack of support from the hospital, blah blah.
