tincture of opium??

I was on it for a very short period of time a few years ago, but didn't notice any difference. That being said, I was in the middle of a serious infection and flare, and the only thing that probably would have made me feel better would have been bat to the head :). Keep us posted though if you decide to use it. I would love to know if it works for you.

supanova, hi, thanks. i'm not sure what my doc thinks about opiods in general. the conversation was in a different context. i take immodium every day to help control D and while it's not perfect and i still have pain attacks with urgency i am able to get out of the house with the immodium. the issue is that if i'm thinking ahead about the meds i'm on and trying to get pregnant, he thinks the tincture would be safer than the amount of immodium i take (far more than the "recommended dosage.")
i may need to combine it like you said, i just have to try it. but you guys all know that there's never a good time to try a new med...
