Humira cost went up!!!

Everytime I think I am getting a handle on my medical bills I get a lovely surprise. Usually my portion for my Humira after my insurance and Humira assistance is $51. Well the cost for Humira went up $400 this month so my portion went up almost $100. I still owe $145.37 after insurance and Humira assistance.

Thank goodness for Humira assistance or I would be in serious trouble, but it makes me so mad that a med just increases in cost like that the very next month. Usually the total was $1837, this month the total is $2151.

Shouldn't the cost of the med go down overtime? Not up? What are other people charged for Humira?

I already use Humira assistance, in my post I reference my cost is after insurance and Humira assistance. I am already at their max, they give me $500 a month to reduce my cost.

Just got a letter today from Ins. co stating that Humira is going to the highest tier..
I should look at other drugs.. Give me a break, it's working and they want me to switch to a drug that may not work for me... Fine, they will be getting more hospital bills when the Crohns starts acting up again...
