Listen To Your Gut (Healing Colitis, Crohn's, Diverticulitis & IBS)

i have found a wonderful book called Listen To your Gut, Healing Colitis, Crohn's, Diverticulitis & IBS by Jini Patel Thompson ...maybe it could help some of you.... Jini almost died twice and over the course of 7 years developed these protocols for her own healing.

I just googled her and her protocols may have worked for her, but I don't think that telling people they can heal their illness naturally without their Dr's, when she is not a qualified medical professional, is a good thing. Everyone deals with this disease differently, what works for one person may not work for another, and some people on here have gotten very very ill from not taking any medication as prescribed by a Dr. JMO.

I have read another book by Jini Patel Thompson called the IBD Remission Diet. In this book she recommends supplements and liquid elemental nutritional shakes. Most of these things she sells on her website.
I did use the the shake mix called Absorb Plus when I was going through a bad time with a fistula. Expensive stuff. I felt it helped a little but didn't continue due to the expense.
I thought this book was worth reading and very informative. I think she has done a lot of research.
I use the Georges aloe she recommends as well as the oil of oregano although Iedo not purchase them from her site.
