entocort weight gain

i started entocort 9mg daily in nov and am now tapering 3mg daily..i have gained weight only in my abdomen,,i walk 5 km per day..play badminton 4 days

dance twice q week..but am not losing any weight does anyone else have the

same problem

I gained about 15lbs in my stomach region pretty much only, much like you describe. I have changed my diet, I don't consume more calories than I use (1500-1800), and I exercise as well. Still, I have lost maybe 4 pounds in a month and my stomach is still as distended as when I started. Maybe we need to start some Pilates classes?

I am on it also but thought that the abdominal fat is still that of the pred. It is mentioned in the med's leaflet that weight gain is one of the side effects. IMO, one won't lose weight except when this med is stopped. Hopefully, working out let's you lose some weight!
