Well I recieved some dissapointing news today. The last test I needed to come back was my JCV antiboody test before I would have started back on Tysabri. Well my GI called today and I test positive for the antibodies....While this dosent exclude me from taking tysabri, some 70% to 90% of the population have the JCV virus, it does put a different perspective on things. So after talking with my doctor it looks like Im going to try a stint of Cimiza first and see if it does anything for me and if not Tysabri will be back on my list. Im a little discouraged as from what Ive read Humira and Cimiza are really similar and I never got any effect from Humira.

Sorry to hear about the results. I started cimzia in November and it's really gotten my intestines doing a lot better. I'm having trouble with other side effects, but at least my gut has settled down. I was on humira almost two years ago and felt like it helped, but not as much as the cimzia. Maybe it will be just that little be different to help you! Good luck.

I was on Humira last year, and it did nothing for me. Started Cimzia in September and it helped a lot, helped me avoid surgery. Definitely give it a try. Its so frustrating being given drugs and being told, "oh, we hope it will help but who knows."
