Arg!!! I don't need this! Rectal involvement

I am so incredibly angry with my CD at this moment. (Not that it is ever my best friend) For the last four months what I thought was hemorrhoids and a few fissures due to a recent nasty flare was all that was wrong but these issues have been going on now for 4 months and are getting worse. I know people have posted on this issue in the past but I just need someone to tell me that this can improve. Some things I have read have not been very encouraging when it comes to peri-rectal CD. Being recently dumped by my husband the thought of one day being intimate with someone new scared me anyway but now I'm afraid of the damaging effects rectal CD can have including vaginal fistulas. I have an appointment made so hopefully I can avoid any further damage to that area. Any tips are welcome also. I have every cream and wipe known to man:) Thanks ahead of time!

The suppositories are RX. They have steroids in them. They are very nice though when my rectum is swollen shut! You can't use them long term because it'll cause tissue thinning which will cause more rectal bleeding. Like all Crohn's meds, you have to choose the lesser evil :)

Anyway, I feel your pain. I think rectal involvement is the WORST of my CD (aside from the kidneystones). And the emotional pain is really hard to underestimate also.
My problems have fortunately always ended when the flare ended. So there is hope.
