I wish my colon stopped working

I was suffering from a proctitis flare up for more than a week now. I was treated with both pentasa enema and budesonide enema which caused me severe constipation. I took a suppository stool softener yesterday's night. I had a bowel movement but since then I have severe cramps in both my colon and intestines. Nothing relieves the pain. When I was constipated, it was better. I really wish my colon stops its motility.

The irony is, it sounds like it has stopped working....prunes/prune juice is my suggestion to aid with the constipation (and as much water as you can handle all day and night). With having proctitis there's really no way around getting rid of it without using rectal meds....and the rectal meds likely wouldn't cause constipation...but maybe ask your doc for a script of cortifoam enema (it's the only one that works for me which is why I highly recommend it since not much else in the form of RX works on me).
