SL24, I am sorry you aren't feeling well. I agree with the previous responders that your disease is not in remission and you need to take your meds.
We have all been where you are: unhappy at getting diagnosed with a chronic illness, unwilling to accept a "forever" prognosis, refusing to take our meds. It is not fun to be sick, and it is not fun to have Crohn's. It is a complicated and confusing illness, but one that can be effectively managed (in almost every case) to the point where you will feel well and live your life to its fullest.
There are many paths to choose to wellness, and it is something that each of us has to figure out. Most of the successes I've seen are based on a medical treatment plan, with dietary modifications to manage symptoms and/or attempt to reduce the inflammatory response or to change the way the gut functions. You were given meds for your illness, and you should take them. This forum is a great place to seek advice on how to approach your meds, your diet, your lifestyle - all of the things we have figured out that might be helpful to you, too.
Welcome to the forum. Now take control of your illness and get it back into remission!
