I am a Swedish man, 63 yrs of age and I have had CD for 50 yrs now. 3 recessions of smaller intestine and 3 anal fistulas.
I want to tell that I in remission have taken no medicine but in the start of my illnes I was heavily medicated with prednisolon.
And that without any special medication to counteract the sideeffects of this medication. It would have been very beneficial with some consideration regarding body mass growth and specially the skeleton. I also have found that the medical profession has not properly assesed the amount of malnutrition and how the body adapts to a constant malnutrition. I think the malnutririon must be considered in a much higher degree For instance I think it would be very interesting to see what the result would be If periodic treatment with nutrition directly via the bloodstream was conducted. That in order to achieve regular development of the patients bodies. I have recently had some diarrhea-problems and then I have tried to take Carbo Medicinalis. That is then acting as an absorbent of toxcines. I have also found that if I take starch it can help to stabilize the stomach. The dosage has been according to the label of the medicine when cabo medicinalis is concerned. Snd when it comes to starchpowder I have taken 1 tablespoon in a glass of water 2 to 3 times a day.
Finally I submit my emailadress:
[email protected]. In case someone want to discuss my expirience of having this bloody disease. I want to finish by saying that it is very likely that we as patients might come up with som good and practical ideas and that we by communicating could come up with some very good ideas and experience. The intestines is very complex aand difficult to monitor properly and therefore I think that some crossconnection between different fields of expertice would be fruitfull. Rheumatism,Psoriasis,Allergy. Maybe the autoimmune diseases should be better treated if the autoimmune diseases where brought together in a specific field of medicine.
I have a lot to say in general about
all thes but I want to tell anyone who is diagnosed recently with CD that life can and will probably function very well but it is a good idea to try to find some cure or remedy on your own. I have allways tried to be active and not think to much about
my health. Except when I have been crapting in my pants or had severe pain or fever. :)
I wish the best of luck to anyone who reds this.
