I had my seton removed in Feb. Surgery went well not as much pain as I thought. Had anorectal advancement flap surgery to close fistula opening to rectum. Now I am srarting to see a discharge coming from thr hole where the seton came out of the side of anus. My question is should I still be seeing discharge. I am also seeing Dr at Mayo clinic because they thought I had Crohns. Was on prednisone last year for 6 months after first developing fistula. Had mucus in bowel and 5 to 6 bm a day. Had another colonoscopy two weeks ago. Dr at Mayo said colon looked good, but I still have mucus and have bowel movements at least 3 before 8 am. I have been told I have Crohns then told no it is UC now they say everything looks goodI should mention going to arthritis Dr who did bloodwork and said i do have Crohns. I am sick of this. What is going on and what do i have. COLORECTAL surgeon put me on Flagyl and Cipro for drainage from hole where seton was. HELP!
