I was diagnosed with crohns about two and a half years ago, I've been dealing with flairs since then, and seeing a naturalpathic doctor as well as my GI.
While doing some research during my current flair I came across an article about coconut macaroons curing a flair for a teenage girl, I tried it...didn't work for me, and thinking more about it, it was an awful idea as people with crohns should really stay FAR from sugar, or very close to a bathroom. ******HERR IS WHAT YOU MUST KNOW** so I decided to go to the store and buy some high quality ***Organic Fresh Pressed Virgin Coconut Oil** I took a spoonful of it as soon as I got it, and not kidding you, within a couple of hours was starting to feel better. I could actually eat without having to run to the restroom immediately after, without the pain!
I've been taking two spoonfuls a day, it's only been THREE days and I honestly feel 85% cured. why haven't more people heard of this? Or maybe they have?
The flair I'm having is/was a not a mild one, it was a full blown, bloody, painful, sweaty, towel gripping flair. And simply taking two spoonfuls of coconut oil a day has made me says so, so much better.
I've found some great tools while dealing with this nasty disease, but never have I found something as wonder and as simple as this.
Please try it. I know how much flairs sucks. I want to help anyone I can.
After you eat the coconut oil (feels like swallowing butter, good after taste though, so so soo worth it) find yourself a naturalpathic doctor. You can beat this naturally. Or they can at least assist you with the vitamins necessary with crohns.
I truly hope and pray that the coconut oil will help many people.
Sounds weird but SO helpful.

I'm sorry to hear that. It's truly been magic for me. Do you see a natural path?

I see lots of natural paths around where I live. I used to walk them quite often, but lately I've been rather lazy.

LOL beave....very naughty
Amandatracy, I'm so happy you found some relief and I hope things contiune to improve and you find a full remission! It's true though, what works for some doesn't work for all...I'm thrilled for you and your excitement in finding something that is helping you (I was there too once years ago when I stumbled upon bee propolis)-again, not everything works for everyone- but I totally get your excitement and glad you shared your experience and hope many others will find benefit if they try it as well.

I have been taking organic coconut oil as part of my normal diet. I buy it from tropical traditions. They also have great recipes on the site also.
It is an anti fungal and one of the best oils for you
It has not been the wonder drug for me but I have been eating it for the last couple of years and will continue moving forward
I would recommend it to anyone
