I am out of practice and need advice

I think I am heading into a flare not sure if its due to the fact that I gave birth 3 almost 4 weeks ago or that one of my daughters was rushed to the hospital by ambulance on Wednesday and had to stay in intensive care for 48 hours :S She is on the mends right now and being monitored until Monday at least to see how things go.

Well I have been having major cramps and D and I need tips to stop this from getting out of control. Should I stop eating for a bit or what ? I have not had any major problems for over 2 years, so I am a little bit rusty on what to do. I went to get some blood work done yesterday on me and have a phone consult with my GI on Monday

Isergodur, it would make sense that you'd have a flare post-partum, but I think you have been well-managed on humira. You're breastfeeding, right? I don't think that you should stop eating, or even going on a liquid diet. You need a whole lot of calories to support your babies. Maybe a couple of days of B.R.A.T. to keep it simple.

I'm so sorry that one of the girls had to go the hospital! That must have been scary. Maybe that's all that's going on, just a bit of a stress response to the whole situation. But I think a call to your GI is of utmost importance. Perhaps the humira dose needs to be increased for a bit, or maybe a couple of weeks on pred.
